The Kiminee Dream, a 2021 awards finalist

The Next Generation Indie Book Awards named my debut novel, The Kiminee Dream, a 2021 finalist in the Fantasy category. The novel employs magical realism, which can fall under the broad fantasy umbrella. In the book, magical things happen in a real-world setting, not in a world entirely different from our own.

Also, the novel and the recently released Aunt Truly's Tales are now on a virtual book tour. Aunt Truly's Tales is an illustrated collection of stories Aunt Truly, a character in The Kiminee Dream, would tell if we came upon her in her home Windy Wood, where snow falls from November through April, and reality is open to interpretation.
